VIRTUAL - Ashland Museum History Talk

As part of the anniversary of Secretariat’s 50th birth anniversary (March 30, 1970), the Ashland Museum presents a virtual History Talk featuring Kate Chenery Tweedy.

Ms. Tweedy, daughter of Secretariat’s owner-manager Penny Chenery and granddaughter of breeder Christopher Chenery shares stories of visiting her grandfather’s farm, The Meadow, and watching his thoroughbreds, including Secretariat, race at tracks throughout the Northeast. Registration is required. This program is hosted virtually through Zoom and the meeting link will be sent to the email registered 1 day before the event occurs.
