TAKE & MAKE: National Seed Swap Day with the Hanover Master Gardener Association
The last Saturday of January every year is National Seed Swap Day!
The Mechanicsville Library and the Hanover Master Gardener Association are partnering together for National Seed Swap Day 2021!
Please register for this event in order to reserve your Seed Swap Day kit to be picked up on Jan. 30 at the Mechanicsville Branch Library.
Kits will include:
- Native Plants for Virginia's Capital Region guide
- 2021 Southern Exposure Seed Exchange catalogue
- tipsheet for seed starting/upcycling in the garden
- vegetable planting calendar
- 2021 Home Gardening Series schedule
- packets of seed: zinnias, lettuce, green peas (and other flower seeds, to be determined)
- resource list of Extension publications
