Kids Yoga and Mindful Movement
Best for ages 8+ (Adults are WELCOME to participate as well
Kids Yoga & Mindful Movement, a playful, beginner-friendly program designed to help children stretch, breathe, and unwind. This gentle class introduces simple yoga poses, balance exercises, and calming breathing techniques through stories, music, and imaginative play.
Led in a welcoming library environment by trained yoga instructor, Jill Jenkins, the class encourages body awareness, flexibility, and confidence, all while helping kids learn healthy ways to relax and focus. Children will practice poses that promote strength and coordination, participate in guided breathing exercises, and enjoy a quiet mindfulness moment at the end of the session.
No yoga experience is needed—just bring comfortable clothing and a willingness to move and have fun! BRING A TOWEL if you'd like.
