For ages 18 and up.

Soil blocking is a method of starting seed in cube shaped blocks of soil, using a special tool.  This creates healthy seedlings and avoids transplant shock when the plants are moved to the garden.  In this workshop, participants will create their own tray of blocks to transplant into their garden.  Presented by Katrina McIntosh, Goochland Powhatan Master Gardener Association.
